Feel, Learn, Grow! Exploring Emotions in 1st Year ESO English Class

 In 1st Year ESO, we have spent several lessons in English class working on a key aspect of students’ personal development: emotions.

Through dynamic and fun activities, students have learned to identify, express, and communicate how they feel… all in English! We have used games, group dynamics, visual cards, short role-plays, and everyday situations to help them practice emotional vocabulary in a meaningful and engaging way.

The main goal has been not only to improve their language skills, but also to promote emotional education, helping students understand themselves better, develop empathy, and communicate effectively in different contexts.

The classroom atmosphere has been very positive and participative, encouraging everyone to feel comfortable expressing themselves. Without a doubt, learning English can also be a fun and enriching experience when we connect with our emotions.
